This is such a non-BLBL BLBL song. In my mind, I wanted to write a kind of love-sick 80s teen movie song that would soundtrack a scene with some adolescent pining for someone absolutely not worth their time.

It was really fun to write in character - way before I was even at ‘Choreography’ - I think I wrote this back in ... 2012?! And it was so different from the electronic music I was working on for my debut, I couldn’t find a place for it for so long until the ‘running back to you’ single which was Ian’s perfect blend of electronic and 80s guitars.
