A rather weird “love” song as it’s about a dog. My friend’s dog who I used to look after all the time (and, like, **really** loved me much to the owner’s dismay!) was run over and it was just so traumatic and sad.

The song is about feeling bereft for the loss of something that’s not technically yours, but was a huge part of your life.

Disclaimer !!! I am a cat person !!! never did I think the loss of someone else’s dog would actually destroy me but it really did. Poor little thing.

I released this on my birthday in 2015 when I went on tour with John Grant.
